ATI FlyZero / Sustainable Cabins research
An unprecedented investigation into the role of the cabin in the drive for sustainable aviation, explaining its unique potential, where today’s biggest issues lie, and the steps airlines and cabin product OEMs must take as we push for net-zero by 2050.
Created as part of FlyZero, the Aerospace Technology Institute’s £15m sustainable aviation research project, this paper summarises the results of a ten month partnership with Cranfield University and members of Orson Associates’ team. The paper provides the cabins industry with an understanding of its significance in relation to the environment and several complementary sets of clear recommendations for measures for improvement.
